Daily Prompt:  World’s Best Widget

You’ve been granted magical engineering skills, but you can only use them to build one gadget or machine. What do you build?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us MACHINES.

Given magical engineering skills, the one machine I would build would be a Divine Mirror.

This Divine Mirror would accurately reflect each subjects true divinity, revealing to them their amazing power, beauty and light.  As they gaze into this magical mirror, all their fears would melt away.  The self criticisms and self doubt that rob Joy of taking root in their hearts would instantly vanish.

Weekly Photo Challenge:  One
(This week, we want to see photos that focus on one thing.)

So there’s this snail ….. and It visited me one morning while I was meditating underneath the lemon tree.  I didn’t see It until after I had opened my eyes.  Under the influence of my meditation, Snail and I bonded.  We were One.

In the One Moment, I felt the cold sidewalk underneath my snail belly and it felt good.  I felt the morning dew penetrating through my strong but delicate snail shell body and it felt good.  I smiled my little snail smile as I looked up at this human version of my snail self and it felt good. Sharing yoga with others fills me with pure joy.  I feel blessed beyond measure to share and teach yoga as a profession.  Many times I forget that I’m actually getting paid as yoga feels so natural to me, as though I am just sharing a part of myself with others.

Sometimes, when I am riding my bike
I feel like I am on my throne, my chariot, my carriage,
like I’m in a fairy tale, riding off into the sunset of my Life.
Everything seems so vibrant,
like all the colors of God are bursting at their color seams.
The birds chirp at me as I ride by.
